I appreciate and thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. My name is Santosh Naik, and I hail from the quaint coastal city of Karwar in Karnataka, India. I hold a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from R V College of Engineering, and I have also pursued a master's degree in structural engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology. By profession, I am a structural engineer with specialized expertise in structural design. I have had the privilege of working with both Indian and international companies, gaining valuable experience in this field.

Throughout my career, I have developed proficiency in various aspects of structural design, including multistoried buildings, steel structures, and earthquake-resistant static and dynamic analysis. Additionally, I have garnered four years of extensive experience in the power sector. I have had the opportunity to work for diverse locations, including North Africa, Southeast Asia, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Moreover, I have had the privilege of visiting Egypt and Vietnam. Throughout my career, I have gained expertise in various codes such as ACI 318, ASCE 113, ASIC 360, EN 2, EN 3, IS 456, IS 800, and IS 802.

In this blog, I aim to share my experiences and knowledge, not only limited to the realm of structural engineering but also encompassing various other aspects of life. I hope to provide valuable insights and perspectives through my writings.
