Introducing: My Amazon Product Review Journey

To initiate a new habit, I plan to review the products I purchase on Amazon. This endeavor marks a novel undertaking for me. This page is solely dedicated to this endeavor, without any specific objectives or visions in mind—it's simply a new habit I'm cultivating. I hope that people will appreciate and endorse this initiative.

Kadence Concert Sized Ukulele 24inch (Built-in Equalizer) With Bag and Tuner (Mahagony Wood)

I bought this product in November 2023 with the intention of starting a new hobby, initially considering the guitar as the best option. However, I soon realized the guitar was too large for me to handle and transport comfortably. Then, a friend suggested trying the ukulele and lent me hers for a few days. Since my aim was simply to learn during my leisure time without any intention of performing publicly, I felt that both the guitar and ukulele served the same purpose. I began learning the ukulele in February 2023 and found it to be enjoyable. Consequently, I decided that the ukulele suited my personality better and purchased a basic beginner's model. I currently have no plans to learn the guitar, as I am content with the smaller size of the ukulele.

This product is primarily designed for individuals who want to learn the guitar or are completely new to music. After mastering this product, users can transition to the guitar or invest in a higher-quality ukulele if they wish to continue with the instrument. The product stands 24 inches tall and is crafted from good-quality wood. Tuning is easily achieved with the provided key, although it appears metallic, it's actually made of plastic. It features a built-in equalizer, which I thought would be useful but found unnecessary for beginners. Therefore, I recommend against purchasing the model with an equalizer, as it increases the cost without adding value for beginners. The product includes a tuner, although I prefer using a mobile app for tuning. Additionally, the accompanying bag is of low quality. The free ukulele course, valued at Rs. 199, was provided, but unfortunately, it didn't open, rendering it useless.

Overall, the product is worth Rs. 3000, but considering the built-in equalizer is unnecessary for beginners, the actual value is closer to Rs. 2500 . Despite the negligible value of the free items, it's still reasonable to pay Rs. 3000  for beginners. However, I wouldn't recommend this product for intermediate or advanced players. Therefore, my overall rating is 3.5 out of 5 stars.

Key Points:

  • Suitable for beginners
  • Ideal as a gift for children who enjoy music
  • Consider transitioning to a guitar or higher-quality ukulele for serious music pursuits
  • Useful for cultivating musical interests and habits
  • The included freebies, such as the tuner and ukulele tutorial, are not beneficial. The free ukulele tutorial does not function.
  • The quality of the bag is subpar.

Rating: 3.5 out of 5 .
